Frequently Asked Questions |
 |
| Q. |
What are your qualifications? What is your education background? |
| |
After receiving my BS in Finance, I entered a career in corporate finance. 11 years ago, I decided to pursue what I love the most, helping people make the most educated and brilliant financial decisions regarding their family’s future. I am a Certified Financial Planner™ as well as a Certified Financial Educator™. |
|
| Q. |
What is your approach to financial planning? |
| |
The client should want to work with an advisor that will help them understand the pros and cons of all the options available to reach their goals and receive truly objective advice in choosing the best one. Once we have completed the financial plan, we review asset performance quarterly and update the plan each year to make sure we stay on track with all the changes that happen annually. |
|
| Q. |
What services do you offer? |
| |
We offer comprehensive financial planning and wealth management for individuals, families, and businesses. These services can be provided as a comprehensive package or selected individually to meet your needs. |
|
| Q. |
Will you be the only person working with me? |
| |
After the initial client interview, if we mutually feel the relationship is a good fit to help you successfully achieve your financial goals, you will be working with me personally. |
|
| Q. |
How are you compensated? How will I pay for your services? |
| |
We are compensated under a variety of methods to suit the situation and services provided. We work under an hourly, fixed annual fee, or fee for assets under management basis. |
|
| Q. |
If you are going to manage my account, will you obtain my permission every time you buy or sell something? |
| |
We always want our clients involved in these decisions. We strive to have a more educated client. |
|
| Q. |
Have you ever been charged with any breaches? |
| |
Never! We take our fiduciary responsibilities and the trust our clients place in us very seriously. We take a great deal of pride in our business integrity. |
|
| Q. |
What financial institution(s) do you represent? |
| |
We are truly independent, by intention, so we have the ability to work with any and all companies. This insures objectivity and the best products without being compromised by conflict of interest. |
|
| Q. |
Do you provide a free initial consultation? |
| |
Yes, we do offer a free client interviews. We have found through past experience it provides potential clients with thought provoking ideas, and we are often able to share advice at no cost as to how we have helped clients in similar situations. |
|
| Q. |
Why should I choose you as my financial advisor? |
| |
Financial planning and wealth management requires trust and commitment between the advisor and the client. As a client, you want someone who is independent, objective, will provide sound, quality advice to help you achieve your goals, and always has your best interest first. Advanced Planners LLC is committed to working with you with those values in mind. |
|
| Q. |
What are your management fees? |
| |
Believe it or not, in most 401(k) plans those are negotiable. Depending on the size of the plan, re-negotiating your current plan may be possible to reduce the fees or benchmark it with other companies to provide the best value for your employees. |
|
| Q. |
What kind of plans do you specialize in? |
| |
We can work with almost any plan. |
|
| Q. |
Do you have a minimum requirement for number of employees or total investment value? |
| |
Not necessarily. We look at group benefits and try and help the employer as well as the employee get the most for their dollar. |
|
| Q. |
Why should I roll over my 401K plan to your firm? |
| |
401(k) plans are often limited to the few options inside a plan as opposed to an unlimited number of choices with potentially better tax and distribution control. When you look at the benefits of a properly set up Rollover IRA once estate planning is taken into consideration, rolling over your 401(k) may provide significant benefit. |
